The Discover Grant for Undergraduate Summer Research (sponsored by the Schwartz Undergraduate Research Fund) supports exemplary students completing summer research projects at the University of Rochester. Two SCP Lab research assistants have been awarded the grant for Summer 2023: Brian Taliano and Catherine Lee.
Brian’s project will investigate the association between paranoid thoughts and social function in individuals at risk for developing psychotic disorders.
Catherine’s project will assess the association between negative symptom severity and social functioning impairment in individuals at risk for developing psychotic disorders.
Both projects will be using data from the lab’s ongoing Life Experiences and Interpersonal Functioning (LEIF) Study.
