We have posted a new preprint on observing the nuclear spin dark state in silicon quantum dots. The nuclear spin dark state has long been predicted to occur during dynamic nuclear polarization, where the nuclear spins are driven into a collective state that decouples from the electrons. Some day, the dark state could be used as a quantum memory or resource for quantum sensing.
