Zhang Lab Presents—Elden Grating
The Golden Order Fourier analysis has been broken derived. Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace terahertz to brandish the power of the Elden Ring diffraction and become an Elden Lord a Grating Lord in the Lands Between Frequency Between. Join us, experience the latest fantasy world MS defense, and see how to mend fix the Elden Ring problem of transmission THz grating shortage with Tarnished MS candidate Jiacheng Zhao of the Zhang Lab.
Jiacheng Zhao will defend his master’s thesis on Thursday, April 21st, 2022, at 1 pm via zoom. Please join us!

Generating Terahertz Waves from Water
Scientists have generated terahertz waves from solids, plasmas and even water vapor—but, until now, not from liquid water, which strongly absorbs radiation in that frequency range. Researchers at a U.S. university have finally figured out the right setup for generating broadband terahertz radiation from liquid water excited by femtosecond laser pulses (Appl. Phys. Lett., doi:10.1063/1.4990824).
