Current projects are aimed at understanding the role of RNA modifications in human disorders using mammalian tissue culture and mouse models.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Successful candidates are expected to have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PhD in Molecular Biology, Computational Biology or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in RNA biochemistry coupled with deep sequencing approaches such as ribosome profiling, CLIP-seq etc.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in transcriptomics, bioinformatics and programming<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates should provide the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cover letter with a short statement of research experience, interests and goals<\/li>\n<li>CV with a publication list and contact information for at least two professional references.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit all application materials electronically to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:dragonyfu@rochester.edu\">dragonyfu@rochester.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The position is available immediately with a flexible start date.<!--4c092--><!--4c092--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Join the Fu Lab as a postdoc!
